That is probably true. There's something in my mind that makes me think that he won't be able to buy a prosthetic leg in the Heaven's Arena, for some reason. It just doesn't make sense to me. Sure, outside of that, yeah. The problem is exiting the Heaven's Arena to buy one and I don't see anyone who would help the poor guy.

The other spectators would care more about a match and his two friends were done for. Unless, of course, a staff member is kind enough to do the job for him. If that's the case, then I can see it happening.

There is a lot of anime where people take advantage over rookies, and not only on anime, even in real life too. For example on online game, lots of people trying to fools people new to the game for getting free things. Its not something new....
And lots of people in this anime? Since when 3 people equals lots of people??? We only see 3 person out of many (which we don't know how many because they didn't show up on anime), its too fast to assume it as "lots of people".
